PETITION TO PRESIDENT TRUMP TO SET ASIDE SEPTEMBER 26, 2020 FOR NATIONAL REPENTENCE, FASTING AND PRAYER

I, ___________________, pledge to fast and pray for America on September 26th, and join the following petition to President Donald Trump.

Whereas, there is a spiritual warfare being waged for the soul of our nation, and

Whereas, it is the duty of all citizens to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and to humbly implore His protection and favor, and

Whereas, Americans, who believe in God and prayer, should join together to repent of our individual and national sins, and fast and pray, imploring the Lord to cause America to be a blessing to all the people of the world, to be governed with wisdom and justice, and to cause government officials to protect those who keep the law, and punish those who break it.

Therefore, we are requesting that President Donald Trump declare September 26th, a time for national repentance, fasting and prayer, beseeching God to protect our nation from those who seek to destroy our liberties, asking Him to restore our nation to its Biblical heritage.
